Advocate. Artist. Author.
I’m an advocate, artist, and author in pursuit of enlightening others with insight for sound minds and sound design. Whether I’m helping individuals navigate the intersection of faith and mental health or guiding organizations toward a powerful brand identity, my mission is the same: to bring clarity, confidence, and creativity to those I serve.
My Mission
I help individuals and ministries clarify their understanding of mental illness in the context of faith and guide organizations to discover their best brand image. Whether you’re searching for answers about mental health and spirituality or need branding that speaks your message loud and clear, I am here to help.
My Approach: A Balance of Insight and Experience
With personal lived experience, professional training, and a deep faith, I meet my clients with compassion, trust, and competency. I believe:
- Mental illness and faith are not in conflict—we can embrace both with wisdom.
- Hearing God’s voice is possible, even in the midst of struggles.
- Branding should reflect not just a logo, but a lasting vision that speaks to your audience.
- Success is a faithful journey of spiritual revelation, self-discovery, and stepping into God’s calling.
A Unique Perspective: Lived Experience Meets Professional Expertise
I’ve lived through the realities of bipolar disorder, and I’ve also stood before audiences, written books, and worked with nonprofits and ministries to create impactful change. My background includes:
- A B.S. in Business Administration with formal training in computer graphics
- Clinical training in behavioral health and motivational interviewing
- Completion of Dale Carnegie Institute training
- Leadership experience with two mental health nonprofits
- Published author and award-winning writer
- Sought-after speaker and advocate in faith-based mental health circles
Through my memoir, speaking engagements, and branding work, I bring a perspective that is both deeply personal and highly professional—helping others find their voice, define their vision, and take action.
Why Mental Health Advocacy & Branding?
My journey in mental health advocacy comes from firsthand experience in psych wards, faith communities, and personal healing. I see the church as a first responder to mental health crises, and I believe believers need better tools, understanding, and compassion when supporting those who struggle. My passion is to help churches, pastors, and individuals “get it”—that God works through both miraculous healing and modern treatment.
As a branding specialist, I love bringing clarity to a client’s vision—translating their mission into an impactful design that lasts. I thrive on the one-on-one process, discovering what makes a brand unique and powerful, and crafting visual identities that stand out and serve well.
